Marat Iliyasov

Dr Marat Iliyasov is a Chechen scholar specialising in the Caucasus. He is currently Visiting Assistant Professor at the College of the Holy Cross. Hi... s research focuses on authoritarianism and radicalisation in the North Caucasus, as well as the dynamics of peace and conflicts in the South Caucasus. Dr Iliyasov previously worked in the non-governmental sector promoting civil society, peace, and democracy in the Caucasus.
